Yes, I have said it before and I am saying it again.

Gas is not yet expensive enough for the majority of people to do anything about it.

Just take a ride any rush hour and see for yourself. Specially on an open area of road where there is no traffic. Just this morning while driving into work there is a 4 or 5 mile 2 lane stretch of road where there is hardly ever any police presence and traffic is usually light enough that you could drive at almost any speed.

Nearly every one, when they get to this section of road, immediately increases their speed by 10 mph or more. What I have to laugh at is that by the end of this stretch, I usually catch right back up to them when the traffic (that is always there) slows them down to almost stopping.

So What have they gained in time?

55 Again?

There also seems to be another push for a National speed limit.

I have also mentioned before that I am really not in favor of this. and I simply dont belive most of what This guy has to say about it. Plus you know what “they” say about statistics.

So, New Jersey is giving away $100 in gas for car pooling 24 days in 2 months. That’s about as close as you can get to free gas money.

But, there is another way to get/earn “free gas money”.

Well free is relative term here, what you are getting the free gas money for is advertising.

There are several companies that will pay you to plaster your car with advertising. Everything from full car wraps to license plate holders. Dollar amounts seem to range from $400 down to $5 per month.

Are these companies scams? Maybe some of them are, I don’t know for sure but I do know that there is a growing trend for this type of advertising.
This may just be a fad so if you want to cash in I would suggest that you do your homework and jump on in.
